Here at Salt & Light Bindery, what started as a hobby has led to a business hand making leather bibles for the enjoyment of many. We have determined from the outset that Salt & Light be a non-profit. All profits are given away as we see needs, both locally and internationally. 

Each bible is smyth-sewn and hand bound in the finest leather, with new end papers added. Derived from the ESV translation by Crossway and reinforced by us. This makes for a very durable and long lasting keepsake bible.

The Obsidian leather bible edition has a rich textured embossed cover and burnt orange reverse. At 1.8-2.0mm thickness this is very hard wearing and is a regular to soft temper. This puts it at the more flexible end of our available line.
